More than 25 years ago I worked at the Idioma Sprachschule (Idioma Language School) of Karlsruhe, Germany, for about one year. So it was quite a surprise to hear from one of my German students just recently. It was a very pleasant surprise I must add. The e-mail I received - shown below - reinforces my belief that dedicated work can pay off in many ways.

Dear Zoltan,

I hope this words find you well!

You may not remember me from your time in Karlsruhe.

it must have been in 83-84 when my company, a paper mill, located at the river Rhine, asked me to attend one-to-one English lessons (50 hours) at Idioma language school in order to shape up my school English to be prepared for a service course, scheduled in Toronto.

Since a few years I "reflect" situations I was challenged with to develop myself and situations where I met with people I had the pleasure to meet with.
So I found your profile, thanks to the Internet, the only thing i could remember was your name and that you wanted to go to Santa Barbara.

I made a fair good way so far, slowly "growing wise" and try to stay human.

Actually I am working for an US based company in CT www.fisheri.com representing and further developing Europe.

Thanks to your patient teaching style and personality, my English developed with fun - today that means very much to me.

My very best wishes to you Zoltan, and thank you for the best English lessons I've ever had, and thanks to god we've met.
